Storylines

On April 5, Yagi announced the Steel Cage Survival 6 Way Match this year would have a double risk stipulation meaning each participant would have a delegate to also have their hair or mask at risk. Naruki Doi became the first participant when he lost to Kotoka due to CIMA accidentally costing him the match. Two days later, the rest of the field was assessed. Flamita would be CIMA's delegate, Masaaki Mochizuki would be YAMATO's delegate, Dragon Kid would be Ryo "Jimmy" Saito's delegate, BxB Hulk would be Shingo Takagi's delegate, Akira Tozawa would be Kzy's delegate and Naruki Doi would be T-Hawk's delegate. On April 26, Masato Yoshino and T-Hawk would lose their respective matches to determine who would be/who would have a handicap in the cage match, meaning Yoshino and Doi would both be T-Hawk's delegates.

Cyber Kong pinned BxB Hulk after the match Kong challenged Hulk for the Open The Dream Gate Championship and Hulk accepted and the match was set to the Dead or Alive.
