Gate of Destiny 2014 was a professional wrestling event promoted by Dragon Gate. The event took place on October 2, 2014, in Osaka, Japan in the Bodymaker Colosseum and was the eight event under the Gate of Destiny name.

The event featured seven matches with the Dragon Gate's five championships on the line. The main event saw BxB Hulk defeating Akira Tozawa to retain the Open The Dream Gate Championship. All in all, the event featured one title change.

Storylines

On Ocotber 9 it was announced that Millenials (T-Hawk and Eita) would face Osaka06 (CIMA and Gamma) for the Open The Twin Gate Championship also it was announced that BxB Hulk would face Akira Tozawa for the Open The Dream Gate Championship and also Jimmy Kanda challenged Flamita for the Open The Brave Gate Championship. Ten days later Jimmyz (Ryo “Jimmy” Saito, Jimmy Susumu and Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!!) defeated CIMA, Gamma and Don Fujii to win the Open The Triangle Gate Championship after the match Mad Blankey (YAMATO, Naruki Doi and Cyber Kong) challenged Jimmyz for the Open the Triangle Gate Champions and the match was set to be at the Gate of Destiny.
