King of Dragon is the very first tour of Toryumon Japan shows. It would mark the official debut of the Toryumon promotion in Japan and introduced a number of Ultimo Dragon Gum graduates who had not already landed earlier in Michinoku Pro Wrestling. The tour ran over the course of five nights from January 31, 1999 to February 7, 1999. Matches from these shows would be featured in the first two episodes of Toryumon TV on Gaora Network.

After having been associated with the group for months, Taru officially joined Crazy MAX following his match.
